EECA receives funding from the Crown, including funding from levies collected from the road transport fuel, electricity and gas sectors.

The levy funding helps us to continue our work to improve New Zealand’s energy productivity and reduce its carbon emissions.

Each year, we seek feedback on our proposed energy levy-funded activities and release a report on what was achieved with levy funding over the previous 12 months.
